NCJW's Gilad Group recently rectified this problem with their generous donation of a wheelchair to be available when the Ohel is open for a funeral or consecration. Gilad Group has worked very hard to raise funds this year, and takes pleasure from being able to purchase the wheelchair and give it for the benefit of the community. A small dedication plaque will be attached to it.

At the Group's February meeting the wheelchair was handed over to Michael Meyer, President of the Perth Chevra Kadisha. In accepting it, Michael paid tribute to the group and said it was a wonderful thing when community organizations were able to give tangible support, and that the wheelchair would be put to good use.
